Connie is a Landscape Industry Certified Manager, certified in the Green Industry. She is actively involved in the industry association –Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) having served on the Board of Directors, Interior Specialty Group, Crystal Ball Committee, Student Career Days Committee and PLANET Academic Excellence Foundation Board of Directors.   She is a member - International Facility Managers Association (IFMA) Richmond Chapter and the CEO Council of Virginia; presently serving on the Board of Directors for Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (VMSDC) and the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Small Business Advisory Committee.

Connie continually educates the company's team members and herself. She has attended the Executive Education programs at the University of Wisconsin, the Tuck School at Dartmouth College, the Darden School at the University of Virginia and the CEO Leadership Series at the University of Richmond. She speaks locally and nationally on a variety of horticulture and business topics.

In her spare time, Connie is involved in many volunteer committees, including past president of the Southside Virginia Family YMCA Board of Directors, a member of St. Theresa's Altar Guild and Finance Council. Connie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching football, ice hockey and baseball. She enjoys reading, swimming, opera, watching movies and what else – gardening.

Connie's favorite color is GREEN and her favorite plant is the Rhapis Palm.
